Join for an incredible sunrise/waterfall hike. It’s waterfall season and the forecast is in our favor on the planned date!
With a canopy forest featuring several Streams and Kloof’s, this area is an absolute gem after the amount of rainfall we had!
Following an incline, we’ll gradually ascend the mountain slope for 1.5 km before taking a well-deserved break at the King’s blockhouse. From here, the trail is mostly has gradual incline along the mountainside with incredible views of the woodlands as we make our way to the waterfall. Later it will be flat then a steep downhill makes for a good round trip and descend quick enough to keep your knees in check.

Meet-up Time: 7:30 AM
Duration : 3 hours
Distance: 5km
Difficulty level: Entry-level distance, but keep in mind that to get to the contour path we’ll have to hike uphill for the first 45 minutes at least. We’ll take our time and break when necessary.

Always great fun hiking with Yvette and Jody! This is an awesome entry level hike with a small sting of an incline in the beginning and then an adventure through the forest. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful after a good rainfall.
