St James Sunrise – 6 Sept (Intermediate level)

St James Peak is definitely one of the less hiked peaks in Cape Town but offers incredible views over False Bay and the entire Deep South of the peninsula. A sunrise experience from the mountain is really special and this is the best time cause the sun rises at the perfect time.

With the mountain attracting more people we’ve curated this simple route that bares maximum reward. We’ll visit some cool rock formations and a visit to Muizenberg Cave to give the route some more points of interests.

We’ll call it entry intermediate fitness level required since it does have a really steep climb right the beginning but we won’t rush it and ensure everyone completes comfortably before watching the sunrise and moving off to the next section. It’s pretty smooth sailing once the first kilometer is complete.

The hike will be capped at 8 participants to ensure for more privately guided experience.
