Skeleton Gorge Waterfall – 20 Aug (Entry Level)

Skeleton Gorge Waterfall is located above Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, a lush green mossy area and a spectacular waterfall makes this a really special place to visit.

It’s hard to describe the feeling of being surrounded by nature, with the view and sound of a waterfall.
The route remains on the lower part of the mountain with not too much elevation making this ideal for beginners, kids or anyone wanting to get out and explore.

We’ll hike up to and along the Contour Path enjoying the views of the South Peninsula overlooking Kirstenbosch Dam. Ending up at the lower end of Skeleton Gorge trail.

Difficulty: Entry level – Short gradual uphill for about 20 mins then becomes fairly flat. Perfect for those wanting to get started in hiking.
