Expect incredible views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, Devil’s Peak and the city of Cape Town below the slopes.
India Venster has quite a bit of uphill hiking, lightly technical parts, so if you are looking for an adrenaline filled adventure, this hike may be the one.
Most people travel half way around the world to do this type of tour in Cape Town. It’s definitely a bucket list adventure.
Duration : 3-4hrs (depending on pace)

Difficulty level: Intermediate – Involves hiking for around 4km in distance including steep sections and using our hands to assist here and there (scrambling). There are also some exposed sections but most people handle them well as they only last a few seconds. There is a shorter more direct route available too if this one isn’t for you.
We’ll do a briefing prior to starting the hike to ensure readiness. All we need to do is decide on a date 🙂

Jody was an exceptional guide! From beginning to end I had an excellent experience. Jody was flexible with schedule, picked me up at my hostel, and even took me to grab snacks before the hike. During the hike Jody cheered me when I was doing well, was patient with me when I was nervous, and was incredibly skilled at teaching me how to climb the exposed sections. This was a challenging hike for me I was last in line and couldn’t keep up the pace. The guide reminded us hike is not easy and Jody kept me company at my pace. As a newcomer to Cape Town I’m glad I found this group. They are friendly and love what they do. I enjoy the company; laughs and all the photos and meeting new people on the hikes.
