Cape Point 2-day hike (16 dec)

The Cape of Good Hope Hiking Trail follows a circular route of 33.8km through the Park, and takes two days (one night) to complete. It begins and ends at the entrance gate of the Park, where secure overnight parking is provided.

If you’ve done a day visit to the park you’ll know how beautiful it is, now imagine spending 2 days exploring that coast on foot. There are wild animals, but they do not pose any risk – they include bontebok, klipspringer, zebra, ostriches and baboons.

The 2 huts accommodate 18 people – 1 hut has 2 rooms next to each other, each with six beds. Each room/hut has 3 bunk beds with very comfortable mattresses’ there’s an additional hut that we’ll designated hut for everyone that snores (yes you’re welcome to come too haha). That hut sleeps 6 people. There is a communal bathroom and kitchen with a three-plate gas burner,
outside braai.

There will be porterage for our luggage and beverages so you’ll basically hike with a day pack. Each person is allowed 1 bag to be portered to the hut. This bag will include your sleeping bag.

What’s included : Qualified and experienced Guide, First aider, Accommodation at overnight hut , 1 x dinner, entry fees, porterage fees.

Difficulty level : This is not a flat walk, we’ll be walking for roughly 6 hours each day. We’ll take the necessary breaks and keep the group together but understand that distance and inclines make for a strenuous hike, previous hiking experience or a physically active lifestyle is compulsory to complete the hike comfortably – chat to us if you’re unsure of your capabilities.

NB: All catering will be Halaal, inform us of any special dietary requirements.

Refunds are possible if canceled 2 weeks prior, we’ll need to find a replacement if it falls within the final 2 weeks for refund.

If the tour doesn’t proceed for an unforeseen circumstance, we will refund accordingly if reasonable.
