Here’s an adventure packed with rock formations, caves and spectacular views that will knock your hiking socks off!

Valken Labyrinth is located just above Camps Bay, high up in the mountains but so worth the climb.

Hiking up Diagonal Ravine is bound to make you break a sweat as it zig zags up, has steep sections and mild scrambling (Using of hands) which all adds to the adventure! Not to worry though, we will hike at a comfortable pace. No one gets left behind.

At about halfway up, we’ll take a break at Diagonal Cave. A perfect spot to admire the views of Lion’s Head and the Atlantic Seaboard.

Our next stop will be Valken Labyrinth, the maze-like rock formations in there are truly magnificent to navigate through and explore!

Our last stop will be at the famous “Diving Board” before heading down Kasteelspoort making this a circular route.

The views of Lions Head from afar during sunrise were worth leaving my bed early on a public holiday. The stop at the Cave allowed for. water/snack filling, photo opportunities. Then up to the top with magnificent scenery on the way and chilled air. The labyrinth with sunrays was quite something but on that day., the wind was cold, we had the warm beverage n the labyrinth instead of ” tea with a view “. After a stop at the diving.board for the thrill, conquering fear or Instagram, Charlie the Labrador made the descent look easy on Kasteelspoort.
Magnificent views, accomodating/ flexible guide, so booked for another hike.
