Silvermine Muiz Loop – 13 June (Intermediate)

Located in the silvermine nature reserve, this loop gives you 360 degree views of the entire Deep South of Cape Town as well as the entire Cape Peninsula. You’ll pass Silvermine Waterfall, then proceed up to Muizenberg Cave, then visit 2 very cool rock formation spots close to St. James Peak.

The second half of the hike will go up Muizenberg Peak and over a beautiful Ridgeline – epic views. In Silvermine, you’re already starting your hike so high up, which essentially means with less effort, you get more of the best views. I promise its really worth it and to make it better I’ll serve you with a hot coffee at the top!

This hike is for everyone, even kids – it’s super adventurous with a regular change of scenery and gives you some incredible views of the coast very early in the hike. It should take us around 3,5-4 hours to complete the hike at a comfortable pace.

Difficulty: intermediate – 4 hours of hiking can be tiring, check with the guide if you’re unsure if its for you.
