A great spot for a picture perfect sunset!
Hiking up the Kasteelspoort trail offers amazing views of Camps Bay and surrounding areas, as well as the 12 Apostles.
Located at the top of the Kasteelspoort on Table Mountain, “The Diving Board” is a stunning rock formation that protrudes from the mountain. One of the most “Insta-grammable” locations in Cape Town as the scenery and background allows for a spectacular picture!
It is just a couple of meters away from what’s left of the old cable car station at the top. We’ll hike up, have a photoshoot then descend to another magnificent spot called “Breakfast Rock”. This is where we will relax, take in the views and watch the sunset.
Previous uphill hiking experience is a plus since it’s mostly uphill, isn’t too technical though. Safety is our highest priority and as such we will do everything possible to ensure everyone completes the hike safely.

Always a rewarding hike. The ascent isn’t a walk in the park, however, once you’re at the top it’s all worth it. I’ve been lucky enough to have gone at times when there’s no traffic at the diving board, which made the hike even more special – like we had the whole mountain to ourselves 😊
