Devil’s Peak – 12 Jun (Intermediate)

Join us as we visit the home of the legendary Van Hunks as we tackle Devil’s Peak via Saddle Rock. Towering at 1000m above sea level, Devil’s Peak offers outstanding views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, Table Bay and Robben Island. The vegetation is very special as the Peninsula Shale Renosterveld only grows on the slopes of this mountain.

We’ll start from Tafelberg Road and make our way up the mountain and take a break at Oppelskop also known as Breakfast Rock. The trail is steep, following switchbacks to the saddle with some incredible rock faces. At the summit, expect a sense of achievement after climbing the second highest peak in the Table Mountain range.
