Next tour: 4th Dec

Orange Kloof is a restricted permit only hike, and believe me when I say - it’s protected and if caught you could get fined and face prosecution.

There are 2 main routes, the Hoerikwaggo trail and Disa gorge.

Disa gorge features hells gate, the woodhead tunnel and plenty of rock pools and waterfalls.

Best time to go is after winter rains. The best time to hike is midday when the sun light hits the gorge directly.

Suicide Gorge 👀 the route is open from Nov-April and you’ll need to have an experienced kloofer in your group.

Ps. there is really dangerous sections you’re exposed to on this route and people have been seriously injured before. Please be safe out there.

When I think of all the times I’ve been in this area, I often think of this day specifically.

A birthday boy having a great time outside, finding the coolest spot and really feeling that moment.

I’m grateful to have guided many up this gorge and hope many more people get to experience it.

My next trip is Friday 6th November, you may check the full details and book using the orange kloof link in my bio
