Vlakkenberg Peak Sunrise – 23 Jan (Moderate)

Located in Constantia and part of Table Mountain National Park, Vlakkenberg route offers a variety of indigenous fynbos along the way and spectacular 360 degree views.

Start your day with a peaceful hike on this less travelled path as we hike up to the most beautiful spot to watch the sun rise up and wake the City!

We’ll do a circular route that links up with the Hoerikwaggo Trail on the back end, boasting with incredible views of Hout Bay and surrounding areas.

Duration: 4 hours

Distance: Roughly 8km

Elevation gain: 320m

Difficulty: Moderate – Involves uphill hiking but not too long. Some steep sections that we will take our time with (no one gets left behind).
