Overlooking Surfer’s Corner and False Bay, Muizenberg Peak features beautiful wild flowers and endless views of the ocean and surrounding mountains.
Not only will we summit the peak, we will also visit Muizenberg Cave and pass some stunning rock formations too. The route starts off steep then follows a gradual ascent mostly up until the summit, we’ll do a circular route looping back to the start.

Difficulty: requires average fitness, no technical sections.

This hike was so much fun! The incline was tough in the beginning, but not too long and the view was amazing from the top. There were so many unique points, the cave and then God’s Window were such a treat. Amazing views and with the fynbos was showing off it was a wonderful hike.

Yvette was a great guide. Made us feel at ease, allowing enough stops to enjoy the beautiful scenery and catch one’s breath! Amazing views, was quiet and very peaceful. Tough incline in the beginning, but doable. Definitely worth the early morning start!
