Little Lion’s Head Sunset – (Entry level)

(6 customer reviews)

R350.00

A magnificent spot to admire the sunset.

Little Lion’s Head might be small, but with her views she packs a punch! This is basically a smaller version of Lions Head, located between Hout Bay, Sandy Bay and Llandudno with incredible vistas to boot.

Also known as Klein Leeukoppie, this is a relatively short hike, its steep but not for too long as it will take less than an hour to get to the top. The last section however is a bit tricky and involves scrambling (maneuvering up and over rocks) with some exposure, but the 360 views from the peak are spectacular.

We’ll take a nice break at the top, soak in the views whilst enjoying a hot beverage and some healthy snacks.

This is a wonderful hiking experience with even better views from the top! There are a few scramble sections, but Idrees ensured everyone was safe and comfortable at all times. Definitely recommended.

Monumental first hike for me, discovered that I do indeed have a fear of heights but with the patient support of Yvette and my friends that joined me, I managed to face my fear and overcome it. Yvette is truly an amazing guide, she made us feel welcomed and comfortable as well as safe. What an incredible first hike that packs quite a punch but worth it once you reach the top! Beautiful views!! Thanks Yvette, we look forward to future hikes with the Trail Fit team!!

We are quite new in the hiking community, but have thoroughly enjoyed this hike. Only reason I am giving 4 stars in stead of 5, is because the weather didn’t play along (it’s Cape Town after all!), and we couldn’t see the sunset. But we made it a fun family event and loved every minute of it, had many laughs on the way up and down! Idrees is a fantastic guide!

Lovely hike. Found the ‘scrambling’ / climbing quite challenging but really enjoyed it. Would definitely do it again. Guide was very helpful – really nice to do it with a guide if its your first time. And he had tea/coffee/snacks for us at the top – such a treat! Would go again.

I’m a beginner hiker so this hike was good on sections and quite challenging on others, but just like most things in the life good company makes it better.
Jody and his team were it! Thanks guys hubby will probably back.

We had an amazing time, bellies full of laughter and a night full of adventure.
I probably dragged some of the most reluctant people up the mountain on this hike! Fitness levels peh, endurance levels peh, penchant for exaggerating how close to death they are – all time high! LOL, but it is a testament to how great Jody and Idrees are at what they do that we all finished the hike safe and in high spirits.

The sunset and scenery were beautiful going up and it was a special thrill to come down in the dark, guided expertly by Jody and Idrees.
We challenged body and mind and had so much fun we never even got to have that coffee! I guess we’ll have to do it again 😊
