India Venster – 6th Oct (Intermediate)

India Venster is a spectacular route situated on the front of Table Mountain directly below the Cable Way. Expect incredible views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, Devil’s Peak and the city of Cape Town below the slopes. As we draw closer to the top, there are some staples and chains which adds to the adventure. Thereafter, the path loops around the mountain opening up views of Seapoint, Camps Bay and the Atlantic seaboard. There are some scrambles and areas that are exposed which makes this hike suited for those looking for an adrenaline filled adventure.

Our way back down will be via the Cable Car (not included). Cable Car will cost R210 per person. Please note the Cable Car operates weather permitting and as such we may be required to hike down via Platteklip Gorge.

Most people travel half way around the world to do this type of tour in Cape Town. It’s definitely a bucket list adventure.

Duration : 3-4hrs (depending on pace)

Difficulty level: Intermediate – Involves hiking up steep sections and using our hands to assist here and there (scrambling). There are also some exposed sections so being relatively comfortable with heights is recommended. We’ll do a briefing prior to starting the hike to ensure readiness.
