Echo Valley Sunset – 29th March (Entry-level)

Located in Kalk Bay you’ll find echo valley, a home to a lovely network of trails. We found the perfect sunset location – it’s quick and the panoramic views are really good including Kalk Bay Harbour, Fish Hoek and Noordhoek beach.
This hike is for everyone, even kids – it’s super adventurous with a regular change of scenery and quickly gives you some incredible views of both sides of the coast.
It should take us around 2 hours to complete and get the full experience. Sunsets are so much better on the mountain with good company in less crowded spaces.

Difficulty: Entry level – Somewhat steep and gradual incline terrain but for a short distance

What an awesome hike!!!
Having Jody as our guide made sure we got the most out of this route. Our guide Jody was brilliant, he made sure we did not miss anything. The hike was managed at a steady pace – it was presumably less busy and that added to the enjoyment and to top it off, we got a chance to rest at the perfect sunrise location. We would definitely use TrailFitSA again- we would have missed so much of what there is to see on the mountain.
