Blackburn Ravine Sunset – 7th Nov (entry-level)

Blackburn Ravine is one of Hout Bay’s finest hikes, and a route less traveled. It leads up to the Sentinel View Point and the views are surely priceless.

We’ll watch the sunset at a comfortable spot and follow a circular route down shortly after sunset while there’s still some light.

Experience something different and step it up a notch by doing a sunset hike. There’s something special about being up there at golden hour and this is the only time of year you can see the sun set right next to the sentinal peak.

Meet up time : 17:30

Duration : 2.5 hrs complete

Distance : 5km

Difficulty level : No need for high level of fitness, but there is uphill hiking most of the way up. We’ll take it easy on the steeper parts. No rush since there’s sufficient time to reach the sunset view spot.
