Bainskloof Adventure – Wet Hike (Entry level)

This is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Western Cape found on the outskirts of Wellington. The scenic drive is just over an hour from Cape Town and features incredible views on the BainsKloof pass. We’ve become experts in navigating the area.
The Witte River boasts beautiful natural rock pools, the plan is to submerge in many of them while making our way upstream. We’ll secure our items in dry bags and swim in our quick drying sport wear which will create the ultimate relaxing outdoor experience. We’ve designed this experience to give people the most joy – just imagine walking along rocks and swimming as you please in one of South Africas most beautiful areas. This is one of the best summer hikes and is even better than the Crystal pools hike for many reasons.

Hiking Duration: 4-5 hrs complete
Distance: 2 km
Location: Wellington – BainsKloof Pass (weather)
Difficulty level: Entry level distance but requires some flexibility to move across and over rocks. We’ll keep our shoes on while wading and swimming through the pools. You don’t have to be a strong swimmer since rock pools can be avoided.
