Obviously bigger views on Perdekop but the huge faucets and greenery found at the cracks on Table Mountain can definitely compete.

A weekend not too long ago we hosted both hikes. Both very special places. Quite excited for the new routes we’ll be offering soon.

The Secret Waterfall ✨

It starts off as a “normal hike” following a trail with short inclines, declines and a few scrambles. The route is about 9 km to the waterfall and back, however, you’ll be required to stretch to get up, over and around the rock formations in the gorge while it becomes more and more beautiful leading up to the waterfall – this is where it starts getting really exciting!

The Waterfall is approximately 40 metres of sheer drop (if not more) and a truly spectacular one indeed. The sun rays never reached this 20 metre square oasis which gives it a really dark mossy green moist look partnered up with the smoothest wet natural looking mountain walls you’ll probably ever see, this of course makes for a fresh Icy Rockpool, as cold as it is. We’ve only seen smiles come from attendees after their swim.

Did a route check yesterday and saw the popular heard of Table Mountain Tahrs grazing on the few flowers that were blooming🌼🐐let’s hope they are still around sunday.

Such an incredible sunset from the top, can’t wait to share the content with you. @funlifedesignlab ETA on this? 😂😂

So pumped for the weekend, we have so many great hikes, added another intermediate one up : Kalk Bay Peak on Saturday, it’s gonna be a jol 💃🏻☕️

This coming sunday it’s on😎

Honestly, if you haven’t done the route before it isn’t easy to navigate without worrying if you’re still on the right track.

The steep hike features incredible rock formations and sightings of Himalayan Tahrs🐐 are possible, the views of the Gorge between Devils Peak and Knifes Edge is unbelievably beautiful and has a whole lot of depth. Do you know Devils Peak is over 1000 meters above sea level? That means 360 degree views of note.

After summiting Devils Peak we will cruise back down feeling fulfilled.

We’re blessed to have this route right in our backyard and its definitely a bucket list hike around this part of town. It’s such an exciting route to guide and helping people experience it safely is the goal.
